Los Angeles is a breeding ground for youth basketball talent this weekend as Nike hosts its annual “The Academy” camp. Among some of the best players from LA and other cities around the country in attendance, you can bet the star-studded event will be filled with heat on feet.The earliest and equally the best pair seen thus far is Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 11. “The Academy” edition, made specifically for the camp, features a lush orange base with black forefoot and heel accents. KD’s logo marks the rear in a turquoise shade, which is offset on the medial side by emoji’s of all sorts.It’s uncertain at present time if the Nike KD 11 “The Academy” will release. But given the history of PEs like such in the past, odds are they may not drop at retail. Stay tuned for more details.
